Ashley & Cory

When I first met with Ashley to discuss her wedding flowers, she gave me two words for the décor – boho and country. She and Cory were married this past September in their backyard. Backyard weddings can be a lot of things – quaint, cute, the list goes on. When you live on a gorgeous farm, you’d be crazy to get married anywhere else. Ashley used this backdrop to create the beginnings of the country vibe she wanted, and added in the boho through her décor choices.

Her bouquet became one of the pinnacle pieces of this country-boho mashup. For the boho side of things, I used pampas grass with an array of textures, including seeded eucalyptus and weeping podo. The county was incorporated by using wheat and a handful of local blooms grown by Hickory Hill Farms.

Adding in something a bit different, Ashley loved the look of hoop bouquets for her bridesmaids. These brought some uniqueness to her bridal party – a trending look you can consider – and were so much fun to create!
