Jessica & Ryan

Jessica and Ryan were married this past June at Valley Baptist Church in Valpo. Their reception was held at The Allure on the Lake in Chesterton. I met Jessica a few years back. She helps her friend Jamie – of the Timeless Harpist—every year at the Northwest Indiana Bridal Expo, and my booth is always right next to theirs. Since year one, Jessica has stated “When I get married, you’ll be doing my flowers.” I was so excited when Jessica reached out last fall to let me know that she was engaged!

I love the textures and simplicity of the bridesmaids’ bouquets. The thistle in Jessica’s bouquet gives the flowers a touch of blue to pull everything together nicely.

This backdrop at The Allure on the Lake does not disappoint!

Simple garlands with hydrangea and baby’s breath were placed around lanterns for their centerpieces.

Don’t you just love this naked cake by Nancy’s Cake Appeal? The small touches of greenery were a perfect addition.
